She studied in Salzburg, Vienna and Prague with J\u00fcrgen Geise, Antonin Moravec and Thomas Christian. For over twenty years she was concertmaster of the Baroque Ensemble of Salzburg and has been a longtime leading member of Nikolaus Harnoncourt`s Concentus Musicus. Anita Mitterer is the Violist of the famous Austrian Ensemble Quatuor Mosa\u00efques, which is known as the most prominent period-instrument quartet.
\nWith Quatuor Mosa\u00efques, she has performed in famous concert halls and festivals throughout the world.
