Marinus comes from Kolbermoor, Germany, and is currently studying viola with Prof. Thomas Riebl at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. He wishes he could be in multiple places at once because he often struggles to decide which demanding activity to pursue next.

The dark side of Strings in Motion is that he wrote this text just 10 minutes before the concert began because he had to create all the other pages first.

“What I especially appreciate about this ensemble is that there are very few boundaries. The discussions during and after rehearsals drain an incredible amount of energy. But in the end, it’s worth it. You won’t find this kind of rehearsal approach anywhere else so quickly.”
