Swantje Asche Tauscher

Swantje Asche-Tauscher belongs to that generation of young German violinists who win people over with their “expressive, sonorous playing”. She had played at the Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg, performs at festivals such as the Palermo Classica Festival, teaches in Stuttgart the Pre-College Class and is a lecturer at Strings in Motion. For the 2019/2020 season, Swantje Asche-Tauscher held the concertmaster position of the Tyrol Symphony Orchestra in Innsbruck. Swantje Asche-Tauscher has received numerous awards in competitions, including the WDR Classical Prize (West German Radio). In 2019 she completed her post-graduate studies at the University Mozarteum. She recieved in 2021 the Neustart Kultur scholarship and her debut CD “Aprés un rêve” will be released by the renowned Label Hänssler Classic in July 2021.
